Taylor Mountain 3-31-10

It's not that we haven't been out walking at all over the winter, but there are only so many pictures you can take of the same local trails. This one, however, is a recently discovered gem. Discovered by us, that is -- obviously it was discovered by others long before we showed up. Today we had it all to ourselves.

Just around the first bend, an elk cow was having a munch.

Otter was as happy as a pig in slop. I'm just happy that at 11 years old, he's still got this much energy. Love my buddy.

The sun tried to fool us at the beginning of the trek. Not too much later, we were being pelted by hail.

This stretch of the road is so vibrant; a verdant tunnel.

A couple of hours stolen mid-week with the Big Guy. What's a little hail?
